Yet at the same time, rising incomes for top jobs mean inequalities between those who remain ‘excluded’ and the best off in society are growing.

Labour Market Statistics - May 2008       

Labour Force Survey (LFS) data for Yorkshire and The Humber indicate that the trend in the employment rate is increasing, but the rate in the latest period is not significantly different from a year ago. The trend in the unemployment rate is decreasing, and the latest rate is significantly lower than a year ago.
